Hailing from the great state of Montana, Campbell has been an active member of the New York City music scene for approximately nine years. He is a graduate of University of Montana, Missoula, having majored in percussion performance, as well as certified with the Drummers Collective for jazz drumming. He is currently an instructor at Larchmont Music Academy as well as Guitar Center in New York City and is available for private lessons: campbellyp@gmail.com. Additionally, he runs an online drum education channel called “Simple Drums Done Well” on YouTube and Instagram.  A man of subtle and dry wit, he is commonly referred to as “low-key sardonic” in The Big Motor universe.
